Check out the latest Age Strong Partnership Newsletter!

Jordan will give us an overview of the Age Strong program and provide us with information on how to access city services for our seniors and soon to be seniors.

3. Discussion with elected officials/members/guests

Updates since our last meeting:

1. The potholes on West Street coming off the bridge have been filled since our last meeting.

2. Ophenir Bazile, the MBTA Community Liaison, got back to me regarding the questions we raised about the Route 50 bus. As you can see from her response, the bus will no longer operate on Austin/Summer as part of the Bus Network Redesign program:

The stops on Austin St / Summer St were closed, and Route 50 will continue operating as it currently does, running from Cleary Square to Forest Hills via West St. You can find the schedule online at mbta.com/50bus.

This routing will change with the rollout of the Bus Network Redesign. The new Route 50 will connect Forest Hills to Readville via Cleary Square, offering more frequent service, every 30 minutes or better from 6 AM to 9 AM and 4 PM to 7 PM on weekdays.

Hope to see you all at the meeting!
