Please see the attached documents that were forwarded to me by Mass DOT. They are in English, Spanish and Haitian Creole.

The Canterbury Street Bridge over the Amtrak Northwest Corridor has been found in need of repair. While the bridge is closer to Roslindale, there is an impact to Hyde Park residents that may use that bridge as part of their commute. 

Please consider attending the design public hearing as outlined in the attachment on September 17th. 

The neighborhood group will stay on top of this and let you know of any actions.

I hope all is well and things have been going well around Hyde Park since the reopening of the River Street Bridge last December.  There is another bridge in our part of the city, as you might recall I live up the road from you in Forest Hills, which needs some attention.  This time, it’s Canterbury Street over the Northeast Corridor about half way between my house and Cleary Square.  While the bridge is closer to Roslindale, there is an impact to Hyde Park residents so our project team is reaching out with the attached flyers with the request that you share them with the membership of the Grew Park Neighborhood Association. 

 

The project’s design public hearing will take place on September 17^th at 6:30 PM at the Brooke Charter School located at 190 Cummins Highway.  I hope to see you and your membership there.
