Overview
We are hiring a Senior Salesforce Architect to own the
end-to-end Salesforce continuum across strategy, architecture, governance, and
execution. This role will require practiced knowledge of understanding solution
decisions tradeoffs to benefit the long-term cost of ownership. This role will
interface with executive leadership, require strong cross-functional leadership
skills, and the ability to translate complex business requirements into secure,
high-performing Salesforce architectures. This will include stewarding our
implementation to create a common, consistent global catalog of our products.
To bring our customer and contract data together within as few instances of
Salesforce as possible globally. to shape our customer onboarding and
compliance approach. Brink’s is shifting from operating the business at region
and country levels to become a technology driven globally operated entity. This
role is intended to help us navigate this transition. You will partner closely
with Architecture, Product, Engineering, Security, Data, and regional delivery
teams to turn a complex roadmap into a coherent, governable, and executable
reality.
Key
Responsibilities
Platform
Architecture & Strategy
- Own
the Salesforce Front Office target architecture across:
- Sales
Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud (CPQ, Billing), CLM, Commerce
- (Self-Service
+ Guided Sales), Experience Cloud / Portals, Marketing Cloud,
- Data
Cloud, Field Service,Agentforce and AI capabilities
- Define
global reference architectures, patterns, and guardrails aligned to
Brink’s
- Lead-to-Cash
and Customer Enablement capability model.
- Drive
instance strategy, consolidation decisions, and regional deployment
patterns.
- Lead
buy vs build vs extend decisions with real trade-off analysis, not faith.
Execution
Leadership
- Serve
as the architectural lead for large-scale, multi-region Salesforce
implementations.
- Translate
business strategy and capability roadmaps into clear, executable solution
architectures.
- Review,
challenge, and approve solution designs, integrations, and major build
decisions to ensure alignment with enterprise standards.
- Act
as the senior technical representative for security, scalability, and
operability concerns, actively influencing prioritization and trade-off
decisions with business partners.
- Remain
hands-on when needed to unblock teams, validate critical designs, and
drive delivery outcomes.
Data,
AI & Integration Architecture
- Define
Salesforce’s role in Brink’s data ecosystem, including Snowflake and
downstream analytics.
- Architect
Data Cloud solutions for unified customer profiles, segmentation, and
activation.
- Guide
the use of AI and Agentforce across Sales, Service, Commerce, and
Operations with a focus on business value.
- Partner
with Integration Architecture to define integration patterns using APIs,
events, and middleware.
Governance
& Enablement
- Establish
and lead Salesforce architecture governance, including standards, design
reviews, reusable patterns, and technical debt management.
- Mentor
solution architects and delivery leads across regions.
Ideal
Candidate Profile
- 14+
years of overall software development experience, with 10–12 years dedicated exclusively to
Salesforce architecture, design, and development.
- Proven
experience as lead or principal architect for large, multi-cloud
Salesforce
- Hands-on
expertise across multiple Salesforce clouds, including:
- Sales,
Service, Revenue (CPQ/Billing), Experience
- Marketing
Cloud and/or Data Cloud
- Strong
understanding of Lead-to-Cash, Order-to-Cash, and subscription-based
- Experience
operating in global, multi-region environments with regulatory and data
- Deep
knowledge of:
- Integration
architecture
- Data
modelling and governance
- Security,
compliance, and identity patterns
- Experience
working with Agile delivery at scale
Education:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or
equivalent experience.
