The Twinmotion Materials pack, available on the Unreal Engine Marketplace, is a collection of architectural visualization-themed physically based Materials ready for use in Unreal Engine 4 (UE4). Based on the Twinmotion asset library, this assortment of materials features:
TwinMotion now has Quixel Megascans built in, which is....fantastic. They also have their own baseline material library (which is OK). But seriously, having Quixel is an incredible resource and I was blown away by all of the options....and what if....Poliigon and Enscape integrated? I'm sure there are other resources users can suggest? Not to say that Enscape can just go along and buy out Poliigon, by any means. I've found Poliigon to be my most used resource when it comes to picking materials.
I'm nearly at the point now where I have everything I need from them in my personal library but now the trouble is managing them...better. I realize there is a specific way Enscape handles materials since it's getting them from SketchUp, which stores them differently, etc etc. But I'm really hopeful to see some more tools get stuffed inside Enscape.
Humano All Collections Library is the perfect start for building a 3D People library, or a smart option to extend your existing one. You'll get a diverse range of models that can be used to fill in almost every 3D scene.
Based on the Twinmotion asset library, the Master Materials have been optimized to take advantage of Unreal Engine techniques and features such as parallax occlusion mapping, triplanar projection, and ray tracing.
What would you think if you could bring your #bim to life? What if you could get the sun shining and see some construction activities around the building site? If you got interested, please read this article and I will demonstrate how I brought my BIM to life with the help of #twinmotion .
I was surprised how many assets were available in the Twinmotion library. Twinmotion is also integrated to Sketchfab and Quixel Megascans libraries. For example, Sketchfab library contains around 700 000 assets, which is quite huge.
I agree with everything you just said.
The software is awesome, easy with a library and impressive rendering.
The cofiguration is limiting, the rendering of Mmde X has the same atmosphere as the rendering of Mr Y.
Twinmotion 2023.2 also includes the ability to import Adobe Substance 3D parametric materials in the SBSAR file format and store them in the Twinmotion library; these could be materials created by the user in Substance Designer, or ones from many of the material libraries available in this format.
Users can also paint and scatter far more asset types, including Sketchfab, Quixel, Us-er Library, and most of the Twinmotion library assets. According to Epic Games, this allows you to dress your scene in record time. Previously, this was limited to just the vegetation section of the Twinmotion library.
In this video, I talk about how to upload a 3D Plant Model from Megascan into Twinmotion. You can now use the amazing Megascan library for free in Twinmotion. Just log in with your Epic Games account. Link:
Enscape has a library generator from Fbx and Obj files. Is it effective if I buy these files?
We have tested low-poly models on Enscape and it works great with Fbx and Obj. Don't forget to copy the Fbx or Obj file into the maps folder, so that the software automatically loads the map. Please also note t hat Enscape uses the meter system and our file uses the millimeter system, so remember to adjust the units in the Enscape Asset Library panel.
Can a software like Vectorwork or Revit use these low poly files?
Most vector software like the above will be very heavy when loading files, even if it is low polygon, but on a moderate level (e.g. gardens) this is completely possible. We still recommend using 2D planes, so we are building a 2D library that includes high quality renders of our facades and tops of plants.
