[TechWeekend]: Work visit to Parle Factory

Dear all,

As part of the Tech Weekend, STAB is organizing a visit to the Parle biscuit factory at Ambernath. 

Date: 1st March

Meeting point: Main gate @ 8:00 am

Registration fee: 200 (includes travel and visit)

The factory is about an hour's drive from IIT and you will be taken by bus. You will be shown the different machinery for biscuit manufacturing and the different stages involved (mixing, moulding, baking, packing). In smaller batches, you would be taken to the testing labs. Also you can see a lot of interesting engineering applications.

And yes, you might get to taste some hot and freshly baked biscuits ;)

We only have 40 seats available so register quickly!
