Engagement
Description:
This position is responsible for testing the
enterprise data warehouse and its schema, data
and processes. The position reports to the
Business Intelligence Quality Assurance
Supervisor.
General Responsibilities:
The Tester conducts tests on the foundation’s
applications and infrastructure.
Responsibilities include test planning,
development of test procedures and processes,
test data generation, requirements
verification, test script execution, and
documentation of test results. Primary
responsibilities are listed below.
· Develop
test plans, conditions and scenarios in
support of ongoing business system
applications and infrastructure.
· Define,
develop and maintain a repository of test
plans, cases and scripts.
· Develop
and review test data requirements.
· Develop
automated and manual testing procedures.
· Execute
test scripts.
· Document
test results noting discrepancies between
actual and expected results.
· Develop
and manage to testing schedules in cooperation
with the project manager of the effort.
· Contribute
to continuing

Candidate
Requirements:
Minimum 5 years’ experience with system
integration and testing efforts
· Tester
position - not a lead position
·
Business Intelligence knowledge/experience
· Must have
SQL experience – 3 to 5+ years’ experience:
· Writing
intermediate level (complex query exp +) SQL
queries
· Testing
focus on front & backend data / SQL /
report testing /data warehouse
·
Troubleshooting data queries.
· Excellent
& professional communication skills
(verbal & written)

Collaborative & Know how & when to ask
questions or for help

Relationship skills / professional, team
player, and positive attitude

NOTE: Position requires after hours work
occasionally per scheduled rotation. Week that
after hours occurs, flex hours will be
available to keep to 40 hrs per week. There
will be occasional OT required.
