Position: Sr. Oracle DBA with RHEL
Type: Contract
Location:  San Francisco , CA
Duration: 12 months with possible extensions
Pay Rate: Open and negotiable (DOE)

Note :- We need candidates on our W2 

Minimum Requirements
• 5 years of experience as a Oracle DBA working with Oracle 10g and 11g on RHEL 5 and RHEL 6. Certified Oracle DBA a plus • 3 years experience supporting Oracle Data Guard; RAC is a plus
 • Any experience as MySQL dba a plus • Demonstrated experience with Oracle database design, implementation, performance tuning, and capacity planning. Managing large scale database system is a plus
 • 2 years demonstrated experience of SQL Performance Tuning for Oracle on Linux development and production environments. • Working knowledge of operating system internals (Shell scripting, monitoring, debugging) in Linux environments is required • Must be competent with converting logical data models into high performance physical designs
 • Experience with data dictionary/repository tools
• Participation in large projects/deployments that require understanding of software development life cycle
• Experience working with computer hardware and software installation/upgrading procedures
• Experience working with database and system maintenance procedures
• Experience working with database creation techniques and database management systems (DBMS) features • Experience working with database performance tuning
• Experience with automated database migration techniques
 • Experience with Availability Disaster Recovery (HADR) environment
• Experience with Oracle on RHEL 6 Linux is highly desirable
 • Experience with Oracle for Oracle Retail is highly desirable
• Experience with Agile development methodologies is highly desirable
• Experience with virtualization in continuous integration environment is highly desirable
• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in MIS/IT, business administration, or related discipline
