DAY BY DAY ITINERARY 13 Days / 12 Nights


DAY 1: Lima


Arrival in Lima and private transfer to your selected hotel.


Optional tour: US$130.00 NET per person (Shared service ) / US$170.00 NET per person (Private service)


Lima Culinary Tour: Duration: 5 hrs. / In the afternoon, we will have a Pisco Sour lesson at a top beachfront restaurant and try a variety of Amazonian appetizers at an award-winning restaurant specializing in dishes from the jungle where we will also make our own exotic Ceviche from the Amazon. Later, we will have a Gourmet Peruvian tasting dinner at la HuacaPucllana and finally, our last stop in Barranco district for an artisanal Peruvian sorbet as desert.

DAY 2: Lima


Lima City and Huaca Huallamarca Tour: Private Service / Duration: 3 hrs. / We will visit downtown area, walk through Lima’s Main Plazas, the Presidential Palace, Convent of San Francisco and the Catacombs located below the surface of the church. We will continue our tour to San Isidro District to see main residential neighbourhoods and commercial areas. Then, a visit to Huaca Huallamarca, an archaeological site from Pre-hispanic times. This flat-topped pyramid was built with small handmade adobe bricks and used first as a ceremony temple and later as a burial place. After archaeological excavations were conducted, a series of objects such as pottery, textile artifacts and mummies were found and are now being exhibited at the site museum. Finally, we will visit Miraflores District, passing by the Park of Love and Larcomar for great views of the Pacific Ocean.Note: La Huacais closed on Monday.


DAY 3: Lima - Cuzco

Arrival in Cuzco and private transfer to your selected hotel.

Cuzco City Tour: Private service/ Duration: 4 hrs. / We will walk through the cobblestoned streets on our way to visit downtown area, where the Plaza de Armas is located. This is the main plaza in Cuzco and from here we will see beautiful churches and buildings, as well as the famous Cathedral. Inside, we will be delighted by the highest expressions of colonial goldsmith, woodcarvings and paintings from the Cusco School. Our next visit will be the Santo Domingo Convent, which was build where the Qoricancha temple originally stood. Finally, we will visit the four surrounding archaeological sites of Sacsayhuaman, Quenco, Tambomachay and PucaPucará (panoramic).

DAY 4: Cuzco - Sacred Valley


Sacred Valley Tour: Private service/ Duration: 8 - 9 hrs. / We will visit Awanacanchawhere we will see Andean camelids such as llamas and alpacas. We continue our tour visiting the Pisaq Archaeological Park from where we will get stunning views of the surrounding valley. We then stop at the colorful Pisaq Market to admire the locally made handicrafts. Finally, we will visit Ollantaytambo Archaeological Park. A delicious buffet lunch is included this day.

DAY 5: Sacred Valley - Machu Picchu


Optional morning tour: US$25.00 NET per person (Private service)


Maras & Moray Tour: Private tour / Duration: 5 hrs. / You will visit: Moray, the oldest known horticultural experimental center in the world. Each terraced level has a different micro-climate in which different crops can be grown. Then, Maras, 4 km from Moray, is the site of pre-Inca salineras (salt ponds). The Marassalineras are still active today and maintained cooperatively by the community.

DAY 6: Machu Picchu - Cuzco


Machu Picchu Tour: Private service/ Duration: 2 hrs. / The Lost City of the Incas! Declared by the Peruvian Government as a Historical Sanctuary in 1981 and a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1983, Machu Picchu is believed to have been a sacred religious site for the Inca royalty. During our guided tour, we will visit the main areas of the Inca Citadel such as the ritual baths, the Palace of the Princess, the main Fountain, the Intihuatana and the Temple of the Sun. After the tour, free time to wander around at your leisure. Optional: Climb Huayna Picchu or Machu Picchu mountain to get amazing views from the top (+US$15.00 net per person). *Subject to availability*

DAY 7: Cuzco - La Paz

DAY 8: La Paz


La Paz City Tour: Private service / Full day / We will visit the famous Witch Doctor's Market, San Francisco Colonial Church and the typical handicrafts of the Sagarnaga Street. The tour continues to Plaza Murillo where the Cathedral, the Government Palace and the National Congress buildings are located. Visit to the Museum of Folklore and Ethnography, an architectural  monument whose main wall shows a  Mestizo Barroqui  style. This estate belonged to the Marquez of Villa Verde, were among its exhibition rooms the pottery, textiles and plume art stand out. Continue to the famous colonial street Jaen where interesting museums are clustered together followed by a visit to Killi -Killi a scenic view point from where the contrasts of the city of La Paz surrounded  bysnowcapped mountains can be appreciated. Lunch at local restaurant (included). We will also visit to the unique Moon Valley, where we will have the opportunity to visit a ceramic workshop with a demonstration of the art of pottery. Transfer to the Cable Car Station to enjoy the incredible experience to fly between the mountains and spot amazing views of the city. Note: Museums are closed on Monday.


DAY 9: La Paz - Yungas - La Paz


Yungas – Coroico Tour: Private service / Full day / Today, we will visit the subtropical area of Yungas. From the highest point of the journey known as "La Cumbre" (4650 m.s.n.m.) it is possible to observe some snow-caped peaks and a twisting road. Continue the trip descending gradually towards the subtropical area surrounded by changing vegetation. At the end of the paved road, the scenery becomes more interesting: hulking rocks, rivers and ever greener vegetation, getting around an area of fruit trees, coca and coffee plantations. We arrive to the Animal Refuge Senda Verde; this refuge provides the best care possible to animals rescued from hunters, under technical and scientific conditions. We will have the chance to see different kinds of mammals, reptiles and birds in their natural environment. Continue to Coroico town, to have lunch (included) and optional free time to enjoy the swimming  pool or simply relax. In the afternoon, we go for a walk around this small tourist village, characterized by the presence of descendants of Africans. Return to La Paz city.


Optional Full Day tour (instead of Yungas): +US$110.00 NET per person


Catamaran through Lake Titicaca (Bolivian side): Shared service / Full day /Early land transfer to Copacabana for a brief visit and then board the catamaran cruise ship to sail to Sun Island, birthplace of the Inca Empire. In this legendary Island, we will visit the Inca's Garden, Stairs and Fountain.  The itinerary continues with the Inti Wata Cultural Complex, which includes the Ekako Underground Museum, the Traditional Medicine and the Titikaka Reed Shipbuilders Display Centres, the Pachamama agricultural Inca Terraces, a handicraft center, the Intica Lounge and, at the Manco Kapac gazer,the largest variety of Andean camelids. Our Complex also includes a unique sailing experience aboard a huge Titikaka traditional reed vessel for a panoramic visit to the Pilkokaina Inca Palace.  Return to the catamaran to enjoy a buffet lunch on board (soft drinks not included) and then continue with a land transfer to La Paz city.


DAY 10: La Paz - Uyuni - Colchani

Arrival in Uyuni and private transfer to the start point of the tour.


Uyuni Salt Flats Tour: Private service / Duration: 4 hrs. / Departure to the Salt Flat visiting the Train Cemetery, the Colchani village where is possible to observe salt hexagons, geometric shapes on the salt flats surface, piles of salt and we will cross the salt flats to enjoy the beautiful landscapes.


Notes: 

-Tours in Uyuni are always performed on a 4x4 vehicle.

-From April to November, during dry season, the salt flats surface gives the opportunity to play with photography and perspective.

-From December to March, the entire salt flats surface is covered with water and becomes a huge white mirror where the sky is perfectly reflected on the salt flats surface. This scenery is a paradise for photography lovers due to the mirror effects that they can get.We suggest wearing sandals to enjoy the warm water of the salt.Due to the flooding of the salt flat in the rainy season, the vehicles for precaution will only reach the safest flooded places.

DAY 11: Colchani - Uyuni - Colchani


Uyuni Salt Flats Tour: Private service / Duration: 6 - 7 hrs. / We then visit to Incahuasi Island, located in the heart of the salt flat and it is the biggest of a group of islands that represents an isolated ecosystem.  The island is populated with giant cacti species that measures up to 12 meters high (26.25 feet), providing an impressive overview. Continue visiting the north side of the salt flat, where we take a look the Coquesa Mummies, human archeological remains in a little cave near to Tunupa Volcano, from where you can observe the immensity of the salt flats in addition to that we carry on to the circular and wet Chiquini Cave which is full of stalactites and stalagmites. Lunch in restaurant or picnic. Finally, we will appreciate the sunset and then return to the hotel. 


DAY 12: Colchani - Uyuni - Colchani


Uyuni Salt Flats Tour: Private service / Duration: 4 hrs. / A new start for visiting the Uyuni Salt, in this opportunity we take a look to Grotto of the Galaxies, a huge misshapen cave, which is full of stalactites and stalagmites. Also it is a thousand-year-old nature work from thetimes of flood and drying of the lakes Minchin and Tauka. Lunch in restaurant or picnic.


DAY 13: Colchani - Uyuni - La Paz


At agreed time, private transfer to the airport for your flight home.
