Job description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Oracle Applications Developer who has good Development exposure with Developer (Forms 6i/ Reports 6i)
This person will have the following responsibilities:
Gathering requirements, development and performance tuning of reports, interfaces, forms and customizations in Oracle Applications Developing and maintaining payroll feeds for third party payroll vendors into Oracle GL
Working closely with Oracle support to resolve open TARs
Provide end user support for business applications and assist in technical troubleshooting with the Financial and OPM systems
Maintaining and managing development requests and support desk tickets in Trackit.
Discoverer administration and creation of Discoverer End User Layers
Creation of reports from Oracle Applications in HTML
Generate ad-hoc reports utilizing Discoverer
The Oracle Applications Developer is responsible for design, development and support of reports, interfaces, forms, and extensions in the PO, AP, GL, FA, and CE modules in the Oracle Financial Applications environment
Uses strong working knowledge of development tools such as Oracle Developer 2000, Developer 6.x (reports and forms), and PL/SQL in the Oracle 11.5.10 environment
Other tasks include supporting conversions and developing interfaces
Qualifications:
* MUST have at least 3 years of progressive, stable experience in Oracle Applications Development in a large, corporate environment
* MUST demonstrate proficiency using Oracle Development tools
* MUST be knowledgeable and experienced in a UNIX environment
