Remote: Hybrid | 3 days onsite & 2 days remote

 

TOP SKILLS: 

·       Biggest skill set needed is Tableau - should be ab advanced as Tableau developer along with backend database knowledge.

·       Understand database and reports - no hand holding

·       SQL scripts, big query, build reports in tableau - create & publish - understand the calculations

·       Communication with stakeholders - telling them what to do, give them insights, translate data into insights, provide solutions.

 

Job Summary:

As a Senior Tableau Developer, you are responsible for the development, support, maintenance, and implementation of data analytics. You will be part of enterprise analytics organization focused on supply chain and ERM. Knowledge of analytic tools and systems is required. You should be able to work as an independent team member, capable of applying judgment to plan and execute your tasks. You should have advanced knowledge of Tableau/Power BI/SQL. Ability to respond to technical queries/requests from stake holders and business.

 

In this role, you should be a visualization expert with Tableau/Power BI with exposure in the application of standard software development principles. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are essential for interpreting data. Constant, self-motivated pursuit of learning systems, organizational structure, processes, data sets and techniques.

 

Job Responsibilities:

·       Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into actionable insights and data-driven solutions.

·       Develop dashboards, scorecards, and other visualizations to support business requests.

·       Leverage established guidelines and custom designs to create complex formulas and calculations to meet the needs of business

·       Strong data analysis and data quality skills such as SQL, reporting and data visualization, validation and cleansing

·       Constant, self-motivated pursuit of learning systems, organizational structure, processes, data sets, techniques, etc.

·       Leverage expertise in business systems, processes, and data sets to serve as a champion for improved data quality and accurate data use across the organization.

·       Development of formal documentation including process maps, data dictionaries, metadata, architecture diagrams.

·       Develop test strategies for implemented efforts to optimize collection and use of data to improve efficiency, improve data quality, improve customer service, and reduce costs.

·       Operate with moderate supervision, guidance, and direction from leadership and senior staff.

·       May provide training and guidance to less experienced professionals.

 

Education:

·       Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.

 

Required Experience:

·       Requires a minimum of 7 years of related analytics experience

·       5 years of advanced Tableau expertise

·       Prior experience with SAP, Google Cloud

·       Experience with data warehousing technology like SAP HANA, ETL process, Google BigQuery, Oracle etc.

·       Exposure to hands on work with multiple and big datasets to build analytics

·       Programming experience in languages including SQL

·       Proven success in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

 

Preferred Experience:

·       Utility Experience

·       Knowledge of programming languages such as R and Python
