We have an urgent requirement for “Business Analyst”
Position : Business Analyst
Location : Secaucus, NJ
Type : Contract (6 months)
Start Date : Immediate
Description of need:
Quickly understands business issues and data requirements of client organization Develops, reviews and edits requirements, specifications, business processes and recommendations Develops use cases and process flow diagrams based on business requirements Consult with internal customer management regarding the identification, specification and impact of complex system requirements and processes, validation of business rules. Use knowledge of data modeling and data flow diagrams to determine client area application system requirements for new or modified application programs Participate in the development and review of documents to comply with the System Development Life Cycle methodologies (e.g. Project Charter, Project Management Plan, Requirements Specifications, Cost Benefit Analysis....) Perform detailed requirements analysis and verification, ensuring that requirement statements are complete, concise and verifiable Translate the business requirements into functional specifications to support the build and testing phases in the System Development Life Cycle Prepare Testing plans and coordinate efforts with Quality Assurance and Performance Teams Performs application design Ensure that all critical issues are communicated to the Project Manager for resolution in a timely manner Conduct, monitor and validate that knowledge transfer to appropriate staff occurs continuously throughout the project Monitor adherence to quality assurance procedures and completion of user acceptance testing, and recommend actions to the Project Manager or designee, for resolution
