"Deepak, Kapil Pandit & Rajinder have been arrested today by #AGTF team at #WestBengal-#Nepal border in the culmination of intelligence-based operation. Deepak was the shooter in Bolero module, Kapil Pandit & Rajinder provided logistical support including weapons & hideouts," he said in another tweet.
PTC News Desk: Amidst the ongoing drive against anti-social elements launched on the directions of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Anti-Gangster Task Force (AGTF) in a joint operation with Moga Police have arrested Gangster Gurpreet Singh alias Gopi Dalewalia, who was the key shooter in Santokh Singh murder case, said Director General of Police (DGP) Gaurav Yadav here on Friday.
Inspector General of Police (IGP) Ropar Range Gurpreet Singh Bhullar, who along with SSP SAS Nagar Dr Sandeep Garg addressing a press conference, has identified the shooter as Lovejeet Singh of Bhikhi in Mansa, while two of his accomplices have been identified as Paramjit Singh and Kamaljit Singh, both residents of Mansa. Police teams have also recovered two .30 bore pistols along with live cartridges from their possession.
Two of the Lawrence Bishnoi-Goldy Brar gang's "most wanted" criminals were arrested by the Delhi Police on July 3. The arrested criminals include one of the primary shooters in the murder of Punjabi musician Sidhu Moose Wala.
Ankit Sirsa, one of the shooters who shot randomly at the singer, and Sachin Bhiwani, who provided cover for four of the shooters in the Sidhu Moose Wala case, were both apprehended on Sunday at Delhi's Kashmiri Gate bus stop, according to Hargobinder Singh Dhaliwal, Special Commissioner of Police of the Delhi Police Special Cell.
The sixth accused wanted in the murder of a Dera Sacha Sauda follower, Pradeep Singh, was arrested after a brief encounter with the Punjab Police AGTF (Anti-gangster task force). The suspected shooter, identified as Ramjan Khan alias Raj Hooda, sustained two bullet injuries in the shoot-out in Jaipur's Jagatpura.
Other five suspected shooters have been arrested, including three minors who were nabbed by Delhi Police. The other two were arrested by Punjab Police. Khan is said to be the main suspect in the murder of the Dera follower, news agency quoted PTI Pramod Ban as saying.
New Delhi: In a major breakthrough in singer Sidhu Moosewala's death case, Punjab Police in a joint operation with Delhi Police on Saturday arrested a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and recovered 11 pistols from him, sources told ABP News. Identified as Deepak Mundi, the shooter reportedly involved in Moosewala's killing was nabbed by police officials near India Nepal border and is now being brought back. The team is expected to arrive in Delhi later tonight.
