Role Summary:

Seeking an AI Architect with strong Agentic AI experience to design and build production-grade AI systems that leverage autonomous or semi-autonomous agents to execute multi-step workflows involving reasoning, planning, tool use, verification, and human-in-the-loop controls. The role focuses on architecting scalable, secure, and compliant LLM-based systems for enterprise use.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIE

 

Agentic AI Architecture

- Design single-agent and multi-agent systems (planner–executor, supervisor–worker, ReAct, reflection-based patterns)

- Define orchestration strategies for task decomposition, planning, execution, and validation

- Implement agent memory patterns (short-term, long-term, episodic)

- Design human-in-the-loop approval and escalation mechanisms

LLM Application Architecture

- Architect enterprise-grade LLM applications using Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG)

- Define prompt engineering standards and reusable prompt templates

- Drive model selection strategy based on cost, latency, quality, and risk

Tooling and Integrations

- Integrate agents with enterprise systems (APIs, CRM, ERP, ticketing, workflow tools)

- Design safe tool/function calling with schema validation and error handling

- Implement guardrails for action execution (allowlists, sandboxing, approvals)

AI Governance, Safety and Compliance

- Implement AI guardrails including PII/PHI detection, redaction, policy enforcement

- Address prompt injection, hallucination risks, and misuse scenarios

- Ensure alignment with regulatory and security standards (HIPAA, SOC2, ISO, GDPR/DPDP as applicable)

 

Observability and Evaluation

- Define evaluation frameworks using golden datasets and automated scoring

- Implement tracing and monitoring of agent steps, tool calls, latency, and cost

- Enable continuous improvement via feedback loops and A/B testing

Technical Leadership

- Own AI reference architectures and reusable frameworks

- Mentor engineers and data scientists

- Translate business problems into scalable AI architectures and roadmaps

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong background in distributed system and API-based architecture

- Proven experience deploying GenAI/LLM solutions into production

- Hands-on experience with agentic AI patterns in real-world systems

- Strong Python skills; experience with Java/Node/Go is a plus

- Experience with vector databases and search systems

- Cloud-native architecture experience (Azure/AWS/GCP)

- Knowledge of LLM limitations, RAG strategies, and AI risk controls

 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Experience with LangChain/LangGraph, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or equivalent

- Experience with fine-tuning, LoRA, or prompt optimization

- Experience in healthcare, payer, provider, or life sciences domains

- Exposure to MLOps, CI/CD, and Kubernetes-based deployments
