Job Title: Senior Cloud Engineer
Job Description: This position is responsible for evaluating and optimizing cloud architectures to ensure scalability, performance, and cost-effectiveness across our public cloud environments.
This role combines technical expertise in front-end development, cloud infrastructure management, and strategic consultation to drive organizational cloud adoption and operational excellence. This role will collaborate with application teams to resolve complex cloud infrastructure challenges, develop user-facing solutions, and work directly with directors and application owners to implement reliability improvements and cost optimization strategies.
Experience:
• Experience evaluating and designing cloud architectures using AWS services, assessing performance, scalability, and security considerations across multi-tier applications
• Proficiency in front-end technologies including Vue.js, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern web development frameworks and tools
• Experience troubleshooting and resolving application team challenges related to AWS services (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, etc.) and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
• Experience working with executive leadership, directors, and application owners to identify and implement cloud optimization strategies and reliability improvements
• Experience with AWS foundation services related to compute, network, storage, content delivery, administration, and deployment management.
• Experience in Integrating with CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous deployment of applications and infrastructure changes.
• Ability to work with various multi-disciplinary teams with priority on the successful completion of group goals
• Ability to apply adept understanding and experience with cloud automation platforms and technologies
• Experience executing cloud architectures for hybrid/multi-region cloud
• Excellent written English and oral communications skills
