Dear Sir/Madam
Seasons greeting from GTU.
After the great efforts & handwork put by all faculties and students for Patent Search & Analysis Report (PSAR) generation activity. In PSAR activity within a period of 4 months more than 1,60,000 patents have been studied by our 35,000+ BE students. This is a great kind of achievement achieved by all of us. Because of this massive activity the levels of understanding and awareness about IPR/Patent among all our students have been raised to a very great level.
To keep this motion of IPR/Patent activity live, GTU further plans to introduce the Patent Drafting Exercise in Sem 8. GTU aims to train all students about patent filing procedure in India. (Where in every students have to assume that his project is innovative and patentable) And he has to prepare the necessary required documents for filing a provisional patent application related to his existing project work.
With reference to the GTU Circular: http://gtu.ac.in/circulars/14Feb/1.Brochure__1stPatentDrafting(PDE)workshop15.02.pdf
Here with GTU starts a Faculty Development Programme (FDP), to train all our faculties who have a basic knowledge about patents or who had participated in our earlier FDP series. Where in all faculties will be trained about this initiative and all necessary information will be shared. GTU aims and advises all colleges to send at least one faculty from each branch of engineering to participate in this programme.
Please circulate the same information with your colleagues too.
Nominate yourself or fellow colleagues to participate into this event on or before 14th February 2014, Friday (11:00 AM) at
