I'm currently using the Classification tool for brain tissue segmentation. I'd like to output the Speed Images for the different tissue types for further analysis but am not having any success. I've gone into Tools > Layer Inspector, selected the speed image and clicked the save button. The image appears to save alright, but then when I open it, I find that it is empty (i.e all voxels are 0). I initially tried saving to NiFTI format but have gotten the same result with other file formats as well. The Speed image I'm trying to save does not look empty within ITK-SNAP (see image below), but the image file produced does not contain any of these features.

I've tried this on ITK-SNAP v3.8 and v4.0 on windows and v3.6 on Linux and gotten the same empty file results. Does anyone have any ideas on how I can export Speed Images?

Thanks very much!

Hi Cameron,

There's a preview speed image generated when configuring the classification tool. It will indeed save an empty image when you are trying to save the preview image. Have you tried clicking on the "next" button to run actual processing to generate the full speed image and then do the saving?

Best,
Jilei
