ITK SNAP output to 3D printer

I have highschool students making manual segmentations and I would like to produce 3D print outs of their work.

How do I do this?

Save your segmentations as meshes from the Segmentation menu. Save in STL format. Then use MeshLab or similar program to do some additional cleaning and smoothing of meshes if necessary. 

We do this all the time.
