Hi
I am a new user to ITK-SNAP and having trouble retriving my saved segmentation files.
First, to save, after I worked with the image, under segmentation tab I "save the segmentation image" to a file I created for these image; formated as a GIPL file.
Then I try and open the image, again under segmentation tab and now under "load from image" , I can see the file but I can not can not open it.
Sometimes I can open the image if I hit the history tab but this is not reliable. What am I doing wrong.
Thanks
Stephanie

Hi Stephanie,

I am not sure exactly what's going wrong. Try saving your segmentations as nifti images instead of GIPL. Make sure you save the segmentation to a file with a .nii extension. You shouldn't have to select "Save as NIFTI file" (or save as GIPL file for that matter) if you enter the file extension (.nii for nifti, .gipl for GIPL)

If that doesn't work, could you take a series of screenshots to illustrate what's happening?

Thanks

Paul.
