Error Loading Image

I'm working on segmenting 2D images on ITK-SNAP. 

1) I upload the image as a Generic ITK Image

2) I do the segmentation

3) I save the workspace, and I have 2 files, a (.itksnap) file and a (.nii)

4) I need to send these segments to my colleague in order for them to check/verify my segmentations.

Problem: whenever he loads to the .nii file it only loads the segmented file and it doesn't load the x-ray image (so he is unable to tell whether what I have done is correct or not)

and when he clicks on the .itksnap file, this error message appears:

Failed to open project /Users/AJ/Desktop/ITK/segmented_x_rays/38.itksnap

Error: Unsupported or missing image file format. ITK-SNAP failed to create an ImageIO object for the image 'C:/Users/Alex/Desktop/Dataset/38.jpg' using format 'Generic ITK Image'.

Can anyone help please?

The workspace file needs to be distributed along with the image files. It works best of the image files and workspace file are in the same folder.

You can also use the archive (-a) command in itksnap-wt (workspace tool) to export a workspace with all images into a folder.

Hello, thank you for your response, 

I have them all in one folder and still. I placed the main image, the workspace (.itksnap file) and the segment (.nii file) in one folder and they it still wont work.

I could not find the command a- function.

Really appreciate your help.
