HI all,

we are using itk-snap 3.8 (and previous versions) on our compute server (centos 6), which we access via remote desktop. I all worked fine unitil we installed a GPU (old Nvidia quadro 5000), which is NOT used for graphics acceleration. I modified the kernel to not load the nouveau drivers (nvidia cards...), but the original nvidia driver.
Now, when i start ITKSnap, i get the follwing errors:
Xlib:  extension "GLX" missing on display ":13.0".
The main program window comes up, but there is no actual mri image display. Still, the program itself works, but is therefore not usable.
The remote desktop server is the centos built-in, and does not use graphics acceleration. Still, ITKSnap seems to think it should be there, and tries to use it, right? How can in make it
work again?

thanks in advance

Hartmut

... is it possible to build ITKSNAP without hardware acceleration support?
