Change constrast window and center for all images

Hello there,
I was wondering if and how I can set the window and contrast settings to some default value. For my images, my favorite setting is a window of 400 HU and a center (level) of 40 HU. I can set these manually by going into Image Layer Inspector --> Contrast. However, these values reset whenever I open a new image that has not been opened before. Manually setting the window and contrast can take alot of time for a large number of images.
Can I force ITK-snap to open an image file with my favorite settings instead? I have looked through the command line options but I could not find such an option.
Please let me know if this is possible somehow. It would save me many mouse clicks!
