Hi,

I download the convert3d .tar.gz file. I unpacked it such that i now
have:

/usr/local/c3d-0.8.0-Linux-i686/bin/

with three executable files in the bin directory c3d, c2d and
c3d_affine_tool

The problem i am having is to make c3d run globally on my system ie so
i can run c3d commands from any directory from the terminal window.
How should i go about completing this installation?

Many thanks
John

You can add /usr/local/c3d-0.8.0-Linux-i686/bin/ to your PATH variable on Linux/Unix

export PATH=$PATH:/usr/local/c3d-0.8.0-Linux-i686/bin/

You can add this line to your ~/.bashrc file

Paul.

Hi John,

I was wondering if you manage to fix this problem. I am having the same issue and even so I am sure it is simple, I cannot get it to work.

Thank you in advance.

Best regards,

Alex.
