Hello all,

I have a dataset where many studies are crashing on load. Please see video below:
https://www.dropbox.com/s/8lb23md0r3z23ub/itk-crash-onload.mp4?dl=0

I am assuming something in the DICOM header is causing the application to crash? I did test data with ImageJ and it loads correctly.

I am on ITK-SNAP 3.8.0 (LATEST VERSION)
Windows Self-Install Package (64 bit)

Data I used (open source data): https://www.dropbox.com/s/5hhj0aexfz4laao/itk-bug.zip?dl=0

Any guidance would be much appreciated!

Also, When I tested this same data on version 3.4.0 I received this error so perhaps it's related?

Error: Unsupported or missing image file format. ITK-SNAP failed to create an ImageIO object for the image

I'm also having the same problem on Ubuntu 16.04 when testing ITK-SNAP NIGHTLY BUILD

I get a Segmentation Fault when I select the DICOM files to open and click Next. Tested on the same dropbox data.

Hello. I opened your file and looks like that this series contains only axial series, that why the software is not opening your images.
I just figure this out because I tested in another dicom readers.
Hope this helps you

Hi Jonas,

I have tried itk will several similar exams which also only have an axial series. I think the problem may be something else.
