Heat map of brain lesions

Hello, I have a large number of brain MRI images with segmentations of brain lesions. I wanted to create a heat map on a template MNI 152 image of all the segmentations, ideally with a key to show how many lesions are in each location, similar to the image in this link: https://cancerimagingjournal.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s40644-021-00410-w/figures/1.

Would anyone be able to advise on the best way to do this please? Many thanks in advance
