Hello everybody,

it seems that my previous message did not show up :-(

I am following the progress of ITK-SNAP for 2 years and I appreciate a
lot this application.
Thank you !

But I still have a wish...
Would it be possible to load the "snake initialization" from an
external file (let's say a coarse segmentation) ?
From an external point of view, it does seem impossible. And it would
be very useful (at least for me ;-)

I shoule be able to make the modification by myself (when I will find
some time), but if anyone would know better the code structure could
indicate where I should look ... it would help :-)

Thanks...

Laurent,

I am not sure I fully understand. You can currently load the 'initial segmentation' as the SNAP segmentation image (while you are in the manual drawing mode) and then run the snake mode with that label selected. That way whatever you loaded would be used as the initialization. I guess when you have multiple segmentation labels things get more tricky...

Is that what you are referring to?

Hello Paul,

you are right.
It is my mistake... I did not select the right active drawing label,
then it disappeared when I ran the snap mode :-(

But at the end, it is a good news :-)

thanks

Laurent

Hi all,

I am currently undertaking a trial using itk-snap and am having problems with saving my auto-segmentation. If I try saving it as .vtk then Microsoft Visual Basic error comes up. I have tried other directories and although it appears that it has saved, it does not show up if I re-load.

If someone could help then it will be much appreicated.
