Hi all,
I would like to save my segmentation as .nii however ITK automatically suggests saving it as .nii.gz. As I understand both are nifti files so can I just force it to save as .nii?
I tried to do so but i feel like something went with the orientation and partial segmentations when I use it in the next program for analysis. However since I can't use .nii.gz, I don't if this problem is caused by just deleting .gz when saving or because of a different issue.
Can some one help me?
Thanks in advance
Maurits

You can save as .nii from SNAP and it should write the uncompressed nii file.

One thing that can cause trouble is having both

segmentation.nii
segmentation.nii.gz

in the same directory.
