question about label description

Hi,

I'm using version 3.6 and sometimes when I open my segmentation to edit it or when I send . some other ITK user my segmentation file the labels description are gone

the numeric value remains the same but without the description.

anyone have any idea why this happens? and if in that case I have a way to restore the labels descriptions?

Hi,

 

You can export the label descriptions as a text file from the Segmentation menu. If you share the segmentation, you need to send both files and the other user will need to load both.

 

ITK-SNAP will remember the association between the labels and descriptions for future sessions, but if you move either file to another location or another machine, you'll need to reload them.
