I'm happy to announce that the preliminary release of ITK-SNAP 1.6 is
now available for download at itksnap.org. Binaries are available for
Win32, Linux and Intel Mac.
This new version features a large number of user interface
improvements from the 1.4 release, including a new paintbrush tool,
tablet support with freehand curve drawing, support for diffusion
tensor image overlays, undo/redo functionality, VTK mesh export, and a
few bug fixes. Please see the release notes for full details.

I also want to use this opportunity to let you know that we are busy
working on the next major version of SNAP, which will feature support
for multiple image layers with different imensions and orientations,
and full NIFTI support. This new development is funded by the
NIH/NIBIB Grant R03-EB008200.
As always, please post your questions and comments to
itksna...@googlegroups.com.
Thank you!
Paul.
