We are happy to announce the next major release of ITK-SNAP. The main focus of this release is on multi-modality imaging, with support for multiple image layers, and multi-component images. Interoperability with other tools is substantially enhanced through improved NIfTI compatibility. A companion command-line tool, "convert3d" (distributed separately from ITK-SNAP) is provided, offering complimentary features for pre-processing images and post-processing segmentations. A number of GUI improvements have been added throughout.
