Dear ITK-SNAP users,
We are excited to announce that a beta version of the next major release of ITK-SNAP is now available. The new version 3.0 features a brand new graphical user interface built on the powerful Qt platform, and substantially expanded support for multi-modality image segmentation, with more to come in upcoming versions. The current release is made possible by support from the NIH/NIBIB grant R01 EB014346.
REPORTING BUGS
Although we have tried to resolve most bugs in the software prior to releasing the beta version, some users will most likely experience some bugs. To report bugs, please follow these guidelines:
- Please be as complete and constructive as possible in your bug report. The most helpful thing to do is to create a youtube video using screen capture software and include a link to the video in your bug report. This helps us recreate the problem.
- Report complete version information by going to the ITK-SNAP->About menu (on the Mac) or Help->About menu (Windows/Linux) and selecting the "Build" tab. Paste the information in the tab into your bug report.
- Use the bug tracker to report bugs.
- Check if the bug has already been reported before reporting it!
Thank you and please enjoy the beta version!
