Registration link for the ITK-SNAP training session on August 23

Dear ITK-SNAP Community,

We will hold an ITK-SNAP training session between 8:30 am and 4:30 pm on August 23, 2013 at the University of Pennsylvania, in Philadelphia. To register for the session, please use the link below. You will be asked to pay the registration fee, which is $100 for general attendees, $50 for University of Pennsylvania staff, and $15 for University of Pennsylvania students. The registration site was arranged for by the University Hospitality services and is secure.

We will post a detailed program for the training session soon. There will be a morning session, which will cover basic concepts of 3D medical images and image segmentation; image navigation in ITK-SNAP; and manual \ segmentation. The afternoon session with cover more advanced topics: automatic segmentation (theory and practice); integration with the command-line C3D tool; advanced usage and features; and the future of ITK-SNAP. The session will be hands on, and 

attendees should bring a laptop to the session.  

If you plan to travel and wish to book a hotel, there are currently rooms available for under $200 a night on hotels.com. The University can be reached conveniently using public transportation from hotels located in the Center City and Old City neighborhoods of Philadelphia, and is in walking distance from hotels in the University City area. The University and Center City are reachable by commuter rail and taxi from the Philadelphia International Airport (PHL).
