Product manager: 5+ years experience with 2 years as product
manager/Tech manager / Team manager
Summary: This role is of strategic importance in the development &
extension of Thumbspeed suite of messaging applications. Reporting to
the Head of Indian operations based out of U.S the individual would be
a key contributor to the development of long-term strategy, and,
day-to-day tactical execution of product roadmap.
Key responsibilities include: gathering requirements from the global
Mobile business stakeholders and the translation and prioritization of
these requirements for the Mobile development team for all aspects of
the Mobile messaging and related products
Responsibilities:
Responsible for taking in requirements globally from Mobile business
stakeholders, synthesizing and prioritizing them into product
requirements and functionality.
·Manage development & dissemination of roadmaps, PRD's, & functional
specifications documents.
·Working directly with cross-functional teams within TSpeed to lead
and/or support the creation of product line roadmaps,
technical/functional specifications, and the management of product
deliverables.
·Collaborate w/ Development, Q&A, & Tech-Operations team(s) through
development & release cycle & ongoing/sustaining operation.
Strong communication and coordination skills with a demonstrated
ability to manage product internationally and across a matrices
organization.
·Build relationships and trust with diverse teams even in the face of
geographical distance.
Requirements
·Technical background.
·Extremely execution focused and has a history of successful execution
in complex environments.
·Highly aware of emerging trends, technologies and markets. Ability to
synthesize opportunities and requirements.
·Mobile background and experience. Desirable
