Title: .NET/SQL Server Developer
Contract Duration: 12 months
Location: Hopewell, New Jersey

Minimum Requirements:
.NET Web Developer/Architect

Person will be working on a variety of .NET based Data Warehouse and
Development initiatives - all based on .NET framework, Web Services
and SQL Server or Oracle back ends.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- C#
- VB.NET
- ASP.NET
- SQL Server 2000*
- Web Services

Ideally, they are looking for well rounded Web/Client/Server
developers with SOLID .Net skills (VB.NET, ASP.NET) as well as SOLID
SQL Server 2000 skills (Stored Procedures, Triggers, etc) - Oracle is
a plus as well.

More Junior candidates for these positions will have about 5-7 years
overall web development and/or client server experience and have 2+
years experience working with the Microsoft .NET framework -
specifically VB.NET, ASP.NET and any Web Services - SHOULD BE RECENT.

Experience with transactional, real-time, or on-line application
environments, and an impeccable work ethic are also strongly desired -
not job hoppers.

Person should have extensive experience working with large
applications and working with the back end data bases directly (SQL
skills, writing stored procedures and triggers to call/write data are
essential). Working knowledge of XML and XSL programming will also be
helpful.

CLIENT .NET Environment:
Front End = will consist of ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#, XML, HTML, JavaScript.
Middle Tier (Components) = C#, VB
Back end = SQL Server/Oracle, Stored Procedures, Triggers

Analytical ability of the candidate is key - their ability to work
through problems. Try to assess your candidates ability to think
through problems, versus just demonstrating "text book" knowledge -
since they will probably come in contact with problems that have never
surfaced before.
