Minimum Requirements:
Senior programmer/analyst, project lead, capable of directing small
groups of developers. 10 or more years of experience.
· Advanced programming/coding, design, and specifications development
skills.
· Multiyear experience in insurance, particularly with medical, dental,
drug or disability claim processing.
· At least 10 years experience with mainframe development in Cobol,
CICS, DB2, VSAM environment. Familiarity with mainframe development,
debugging, utilities and change control/management tools.
· In depth knowledge of RDBMS, such as DB2, Oracle, etc., approaching
DBA/DA level. Familiarity with data modeling, optimization, stored
procedures, etc.
· Practical/work experience in distributed environment, in particular
with Unix platform(s) and messaging/middleware, such as MQ, Tibco, etc.
· Practical/work experience with Java, J2EE, XML, XSL, frameworks,
application servers, etc.
