Notes from today’s ITI Planning meeting

 

Topic: EHDS Data Sharing eXchange (IHE IT-Infrastructure Issue #230)

 

Discussed scope, ownership, and alignment of the proposed profile, overlap with existing work, EHDS specificity, and appropriate domain placement.

Coordination with QRPH and EURIDICE was emphasized.

• First use case (Cross Border Treatment) will be addressed in EURIDICE.
• There is overlap with De-Identification Services for Secondary Use (Issue #228)
• QRPH is updating the Secondary Use White Paper.
• The proposal is very EHDS-centric. Can or should it be internationalized beyond the EHDS context?

Note: Before broadening scope, consider whether this work should be taken up in EURIDICE or QRPH rather than ITI.

• Rada can serve as primary editor. Additional editorial support will be needed.
• What is the most appropriate home for this work (QRPH, EURIDICE, ITI)?

 

• Discussed agenda for ITI F2F

 

Actions

• Rada to update the proposal and link it to the GitHub issue (done)
• Review this proposal in EURIDICE tomorrow.
• QRPH to review the proposal, focusing on overlap with De-Identification Services and secondary use activities
• Discuss and decide on the appropriate domain ownership.
• Oliver will send out ITI F2F agenda
