This Thursday we have the De-Identification Handbook. Alan is on holiday, so I have focused the agenda on my assignments. Please review the following and be ready to discuss.

Agenda:

1. Only end-notes in references.html. This is part of master build so you can see that all references are indicated on the references.html page. All narrative that wants to refer the reader to one of the references simply links to the references.html using the manually assigned anchor. Note that this references.md uses markdown numbered list, so everything is indicated as "1." thus auto-numbering. This enables us to resort them, or re-generate.  It might be possible to keep all the references in .bib format and auto-generate the references.md; I didn't look in to this as Alan understands it and will respond after his holiday.

2. Security Considerations. I have updated the Security Considerations section in a branch for review. This includes depending on BALP, and further profiling. Thus I kept the must-support section.

HI John and all,

Here is the agenda for the tel-con on this Thursday:

1. Review the PR #39. It fixed the issue #27 pseudonymization, de-identification (irreversible), and anonymization.

2. Discuss the structure change of the chapter Algorithm. The proposed draft is developed under the branch 6-feature-de-identification-techniques-algorithms

I can't make the call this week due to my vacation. I put in comments on your PR.  The algorithm chapter seems a good start. Please use the end-notes references that I setup. No footnotes.

Hi John and all,

Here is the agenda for the tel-con on this Thursday:
1. Review the PR #39. The concepts have been further clarified. Aslo, added samples to illustrate the different levels of identifiability and how the various de-identification processes transform the levels of identifiabilities.

2. Review the PR #41. The first draft of de-identification techniques. It organizes the techniques in a way that is close to the daily job of a privacy engineer who performs de-identification processes. For example, dealing with direct identifiers, indirect identifiers like dates, numbers, ..., and sensitive attributes, privacy models etc.

Hi all,

During our last meeting, we gave an introduction to the de-id handbook and the recent updates. We didn't manage to discuss the topics planned. Therefore, the agenda for this Thursday remains the same as last meeting.

1. Continue the review of the PR #41, This PR is about de-identification techniques, and we have a lot of conversions that need to be discussed and resolved before merging into the main branch.

2. Review the PR #42. This is the content about de-identification which now supports multi-stages of de-identification.

Hi all

We will continue the discussion of the PR #41 this Thursday. According to the progress we made last time, we may not be able to cover another PR this time. Thus the agenda proposed as below:

1. Introduction to the new version of the chapter de-identification techniques. We started the comments discussion last time without giving an introduction to the updated contents in our last meeting. It would be better if we can have a full picture of the content of this chapter before the discussion of the comments.
2. Discuss the review comments on the chapter de-identification techniques,  PR #41.
