I am glad to announce that 13th Oriental COCOSDA
workshop/conference is going to be held in Kathmandu this November (24th
- 25th) 2010.
Oriental chapter of the International Committee
for the Co-ordination and Standardization of Speech Databases and
Assessment Techniques organizes international workshops which are held
annually in differerent Oriental countries.
The first preparatory
meeting was held in Hong Kong in 1997 and the other twelve workshops
were held in following countries/regions: Japan, Taiwan, China, Korea,
Thailand, Singapore, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Japan and
China. This year the workshop/conference is going to be
hosted by Centre for Communication and Development Studies
in Kathmandu.
We would like to formally invite all the FOSS
enthusiasts to the workshop/conference.

First Announcement and Call for Papers: Oriental COCOSDA 2010
The oriental chapter of COCOSDA (The International Committee for the Co-ordination and Standardization of Speech
Databases and Assessment Techniques) is pleased to announce that the 13th Oriental COCOSDA Workshop will be held on November 24-25, in Kathmandu, Nepal. Oriental COCOSDA is an international workshop held annually by the oriental chapter of COCOSDA. The first preparatory meeting was held

Oriental
COCOSDA workshop in Nepal will help in boosting the research and development in the field of Speech Technology and as well as further enthuse wider interests towards Speech Technology in East, Southeast and Middle Asia in general.
