This is a lead hybrid role so we are searching for someone who has experience with both engineering and infrastructure.

 

Basic Qualifications :

Need to have Lead experience and have been hands on with both engineering and infrastructure sides.

Job Description :

Sr. DevOps Engineer role supporting one of our largest Financial clients in the region. This is a contract position joining a team that’s based out of Owings Mills, MD. This is a lead hybrid role so we are searching for someone who has experience with both engineering and infrastructure.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years application maintenance on Windows server and Linux
  • 10+ years hands scripting using Shell and Python
  • 10+ years Java 1.8
  • 3+ years Spring Frameworks/Spring Boot
  • 2+ years RESTFul web services
  • 2+ years application performance monitoring (APM) using New Relic and Wily
  • 2+ years using Source code control systems such as GIT and SVN
  • 2+ years SSL/TLS certificate management for Web Applications and Web Services
  • 2+ years log monitoring using tools such as Splunk
  • 2+ years Network configuration including DNS, Load Balancing.
  • 2+ years hands on experience on AWS. This would include AWS resources configuration including IAM Policies, ELB, ECS/EC2, SQS, SNS, S3, ElastiCache, Cloud Watch, Cloud Formation or VPC, ASGs
  • 2+ years Relational databases and SQL
  • 2+ years ECS or Kubernetes
  • 1+ years using automation deployment tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet
  • 1+ years using Docker

 

Preferred:

  • Experience using vaults.
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines such as Jenkins/GitLab Pipelines
  • Experience using LDAP setup
  • Agile Methodology
  • Experience with NodeJS
