Hi, as promised this is the second of two updates that you will receive from us about ITHACON, which is only 5 days away on April 23-24 at Ithaca College. The best overall source of up-to-date information is the Web site https://ithacon.org. We've been updating guest information as it becomes available, and we have a very impressive guest list. The membership ticketing system is live. Everyone who purchases a convention membership in advance by Wednesday, April 20 will receive a bonus “swag bag” when they check in at registration.

We also encourage you to connect with us through Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram; just search for ITHACON.

We are very excited to be “GO!” for an in-person ITHACON. At this time, Ithaca College strongly recommends that all visitors be vaccinated against COVID-19, but as of March 4th, guests/visitors are NOT REQUIRED to wear face coverings while on campus. Please remember that we are guests at Ithaca College and respect the campus and their rules.

About Gaming in 2022
The last-minute cancellation of the convention in 2020 and the inability to hold it last year disrupted continuity in the committee, as the students who ran the convention in 2019 have graduated and moved on. Contacts were lost or became outdated, and we have had to reinvent many things that had been routine. Unfortunately, with only 2 weeks remaining before the convention, the gaming schedule had not been established and advertised. Rather than have a poorly-attended gaming program, we decided to cancel gaming activities this year. We still have space reserved for Saturday evening gaming on the 1st floor of the Campus Center outside the cafeteria. You are welcome to bring and play any games you wish, although this will not be a monitored ITHACON activity.

There will be expanded cosplay activities, and as always we encourage everyone to come in costume.

I hope to see you at ITHACON!
