to Ithaca NY Youth Ultimate
quick notice of upcoming Ultimate events in Ithaca- some are youth
focused, some are spectator events, some are mixed:
April 11th and 12th, Upstate NY College Open (Men's) Sectional
championships (first step in the collegiate championship series?).
this will take place at Taughannock Falls State park and behind the
Reis Tennis center at Cornell
April 18th, Many ages hat tournament at Cass Park, hosted by Ithaca
College Women's Ultimate Team (Kweezy), who have been really great
about coming out and teaching at the local middle school clinics.
April 28th, IYB middle school Ultimate program begins.
May 2nd, Girl's/Women's Ultimate teaching/playing event- all day at
Buttermilk Falls State Park
May 3rd, Hat tournament- at Buttermilk. If there is sufficient
interest, there will be at least a couple of hours of youth ultimate
on one of the fields. (this may be parent/child, or youth only, or
some combination).
