The Tops on Meadow street got a bunch of tropical roots in on Saturday. 10/26
There's malanga coco AKA large taro $1.69/lb - $1.29/lb with store card
Cassava AKA yuca, $0.79/lb
name' AKA "true yam" $1.69/lb - $1.29/lb with store card
batata boniato $1.69/lb - $1.29/lb with store card. This is a kind of sweet potato but less sweet and more starchy than the usual.
malanga lila AKA red yautia $2.49/lb The red yautia is especially good.
They all seem to be in pretty good shape except it's hard to tell with the name', you have to cut it to see whether it's white inside or not.
