Louise is concerned that we don't have enough experienced paddlers for the Kayak Safety Team for this event.

If you would like to assist with safety among the recreational boaters who escort the swimmers, I'm sure she would be very grateful.

If you've already signed up for this event or have a conflict, I apologize for the intrusion.

Don't you love an excuse to be on, and in, the water in these temps?

The water temperature is divine now.

With just over three weeks to go to Women Swimmin' I'm asking for everyone who plans to join us on the kayak safety team to please get to the web page and sign up as a volunteer boater, http://www.womenswimmin.org/ , "Register Here".

Deadline is July 30.

We need to boost our numbers, we're only up to half of what we need to cover the 1-mile open water swim for these dedicated swimmers.

Please participate if you can, we need you!

Tuesday, July 30, 6:00pm, Taughannock Falls State Park, KST Refresher with Ben

Wednesday, July 31, 6:00pm, Taughannock Falls State Park, KST Refresher with Louise...make up session

Please plan to ATTEND one of these, required.

Monday, August 5, 6:00om, IYC, Escort boater skills practice session, 1-2-3 KST needed to assist (Brad, Brian, John, others?)

Friday, August 9, 6:oopm, Boynton Middle School, mandatory boater meeting

Saturday, August 10, 5:45am, IYC, Women Swimmin' 2013
