2nd Annual Fall Paddle thru the Seneca - Cayuga Canal

This year, depending on wind, I propose we put in at Seneca Lake
(42.869815,-76.937989) and take out at the DEC launch in Montezuma
near the 5&20 bridge (42.962044,-76.739116). (14 miles total)

We can leave a car at the Rt. 89 bridge where we put in last year
(42.939208,-76.761481), if we want an optional earlier takeout in case
weather turns inclement. (11.34 miles)

We get FOUR locks, with a combined difference of height in 72.3 ft.
:-) The leaves should be pretty at that time, too. Last year we had
the entire canal to ourselves. Never saw another boat, the whole
time!
