11th ANNUAL WOMEN SWIMMIN' August 9, 2014
 
 
Hi friends and fellow paddlers, current and former Kayak Safety Team-ers,
 
Women Swimmin' opened its swimmer registration this morning and closed it in just under two hours.
It filled up in record time today!
 
Boater registration will open a week from today, also at 6:00 a.m., but it'll take a few more hours (days and weeks) to fill.
Do please get there ASAP to make your intentions known for Women Swimmin' this year.
 
We welcome everyone we can to get on the water and help out once again this year.
We've leveled out at somewhat over 20 people each year on the KST, this is the most comfortable and efficient number of people to handle the width of the lake and the numbers of swimmers and escort boaters, who all need us.
 
Any less creates logistical challenges.
 
It'll be a great motivator to increasing your paddling time this summer...as if we needed the nudge!
 
WS will keep me informed of those KST sign-ups but it would be great hearing from you, too.
Please let me know when and if you've signed up.
