Hey outdoors(wo)men!
A handful of you expressed interest in paddling tomorrow afternoon,
and that's awesome! I will be hanging out by Japes Lodge on Beebe Lake
for those of you who wish to go paddling. There will be canoes
available for use, which are easier to paddle with 2 people.
Additionally, there are some longer sea-kayak-esque boats by Japes
which will be available for use.
Regarding kayaking with skirts, you will have to demonstrate to me
that you can roll or wet-exit, which will mean getting wet (which will
probably be welcome giving tomorrow's forecast!). If there are only a
few people around and you wish to learn how to roll, I will teach you
on Beebe Lake (and you should definitely go to Luke's rolling session
this coming Saturday). However, if there are a great number of you, I
won't be able to provide enough attention to teach rolling.
Hope to see ya tomorrow!
J
