Adults 18+ Can work concessions during the games.Profits and tips are paid out per game. This is a Girl Scout sponsored Money Earning activity. Errin sent me this information to share: “There are quite a few openings throughout the season still. Profits have picked up and are pretty robust now. Payouts are still coming in slowly, so patience is needed.”

Wondering Companions:
Walnut Creek has switched things around this year. The group has one less concession to run, but the venue has been asking for extra volunteers. Make sure to sign up for the wait-list, people are pulled from it pretty regularly. If you are signed up and get an email about a cancellation, it’s because the venue won’t be opening all concessions due to low ticket sales. The final ABC training for the summer concert season is on 5/31 at 5:30. You must be 21+ and have a current ABC certification to participate. Certifications are good for 3 years.
Koka Booth-. Wondering Companions will be staffing a concession stand during some of the larger Spring/Summer concerts as well as the stand during the Chinese Lantern Festival Nov-Jan. There are limited spots for youth 16+. The venue will not be providing any additional training until the fall when they gear up for the Chinese Lantern Festival
NC State Football- Exciting new venue to work concessions at.
Soccer Stadium - The group worked their first Soccer game Sat 5/16. They will be evaluating to see if this is a new venue they want to continue with.
Upcoming Opportunities:
Flamingo Flocking - We are getting this great activity back up and running, keep an eye out for more information.
You can have someone’s yard FLOCKED to celebrate a special occasion – birthday, anniversary, new baby, etc.! Our pretty pink flamingos will migrate to a friend or family member’s yard for a minimum of 2 days/maximum of 4 days depending on migratory patterns (unless the resident requests removal sooner).
Luminary: Fall/Winter Contact: Lori Bidgood LBid...@yahoo.com
This is a GREAT fundraiser for younger girls because there is no age minimum (other than being registered with Troop7000). Sales start in November, however Lori will need to know who wants to participate shortly after we start meeting again in the fall. Reach out to Lori for more information about this great opportunity.
If you have any questions or ideas for new activities, please reach out!
