Hi everyone,

Thanks to everyone who was able to join us for our meeting yesterday. It was great seeing new faces.  I hope everyone who is selling cookies has been having an amazing season so far. Here is a recap of the meeting with contact information for upcoming money earning activities.  Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions.

Cookies - Current until 3/22
Contact: (Lori BidgoodLBid...@yahoo.com)
Girls can participate with 1 troop only. For troop 7000 girls will earn profit and patches only. The troop opts out of prizes to earn higher profits. Sale has been extended until 3/22.

Badge Workshops - Spring/Fall
Contact: Becky Cotugno (Rcot...@yahoo.com)
Workshops are held at the Raleigh Service station - I am open to holding events in other areas if we can secure a location that will work.  Girls and adults work in pairs to teach a part of the badge.  Girls can teach badges that are a level below their current GS level. We normally rotate through 4 rooms and we have 2 people per room.  Anyone interested in working these events, please add your information to the badge workshop spreadsheet attached below. If a girl does not have an adult to attend with them, they will be paired with another adult from the interest list.  We did not have enough interest in the Junior workshop on 3/21 so that has been cancelled.  Next dates are 4/18- Cadettes as of right now there are not enough girls signed up so this may be cancelled as well.  The Brownie Workshop is scheduled for 5/16 (Making Friends & Home Scientist).  https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1AoNqU0O_brqY4OAlbdy57UPEfQ72Y3IDFJ_jrBJaAXY/edit

I have submitted all the paperwork for a Final Junior Journey on 6/6 (Agent of Change)  I am still awaiting final approval to begin advertising this activity. First dibs to work this will go to those who were signed up for the Junior Badge Day that was cancelled due to low registration.

I will be submitting requests for Fall dates soon. Plan to hold 3-4 events including one that will be a Patch program that will be open to multiple levels.

Sales start around Thanksgiving, delivery is in early December, and luminaria is usually December 24 (or other culturally relevant date).  Routes are prioritized by people who participated last year, but routes available in Apex, Cary, Holly Springs, and Zebulon.  This is a GREAT fundraiser for younger girls as there is no age minimum (other than being registered with Troop 7000).
