17 goals conceded in 5 league matches.


It happened in 1964, as Town crashed out of the old first division
under Jackie Milburn.

It didn't happen for another 30 years until 1995, as Town crashed out
of the Premier League, although that was largely due to conceding 9 in
one game at Old Trafford.

Now it's happened TWICE IN A YEAR.

Town have ***never before in the club's history*** conceded 3 or more
goals for 5 consecutive league games.
