IE Record facility and object property identification

Hi Zhimin...

A quick question: does the record functionality work for IE...or is it
only Firefox with the addin...??

What would you use to identify objects and windows if you can only
record using Firefox...?

Been spoilt over the last 10 years with HP product, but currently
working in a small organisation and they have NOTHING.... no test
planning...no test lab...no test reporting....

so I though I'd start looking at some low cost options for auto test
at least for their websites.

Yes, only Firefox add-on at the moment.

I created a tutorial (draft)

Generally people found iTest2/Watir was enough for most recording
needs.
