Call for ITESOL board nominations

Greetings ITESOL members,

ITESOL will be holding the 2021 - 2022 board elections at the Fall 2021 Conference, which will be on October 8 - 9, 2021.

Please consider nominating yourself or others for the positions.  ITESOL is not possible without the time and effort of its volunteer board members.  By becoming a board member, you will get to meet other professionals in the field of TESOL and learn more about how you can support fellow educators, administrators, students, and others.

We are in need of nominations for the following ITESOL Board positions:

1.  Second Vice President

2.  Utah Member-at-Large

3.  Idaho Member-at-Large

4.  Wyoming Member-at-Large

Position descriptions:

Second Vice President:   The Second Vice President shall aid the First Vice President with the annual conference. This aid would include helping with site arrangements, securing speakers and presentations, preparing the program, and performing any other duties deemed necessary and appropriate to produce the annual conference.

Members-at-Large:  Members-at-Large on the Board shall be responsible for promoting membership and acting as a resource person for the Association. One member-at-large may be elected for each distinct geographic region within the organization. Typically, this would be one member for each state (i.e., Utah, Idaho, etc.)
